PetCare Vet AI is an AI triage and pet health-tracking app. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have.

Pet details you enter: your pet’s name, species, breed, age, weight, medical history and photo.

Triage content: the symptoms you describe, any photo you attach, and the AI’s reply. These are saved so your medical journal works.

A random device key: the app stores a randomly generated key in your browser’s local storage so your pets, journal and plan stay together on this device. It is not your name or email.

Subscription information: your plan status, and the Stripe customer and subscription references for your payment. Card details are entered directly with Stripe and never reach us.

To answer your triage questions with your pet’s profile in mind, to keep your pet’s health history, to manage your subscription and payments, and to keep the service secure and working.

Our legal bases are: performing our contract with you (providing the app and the subscription), our legitimate interests (keeping the service safe and improving it), and consent where the law requires it.

When you ask a triage question, the symptoms you type, your pet’s profile details and any photo you attached are sent to our AI provider to generate the guidance. We do not use your content to train AI models.

Our AI provider (to generate triage guidance), Stripe (to take and manage payments), and our hosting and infrastructure providers (to store your data and run the app).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Photos you upload are stored privately. They are shown only to you and to the AI through temporary links that expire, and they are not publicly accessible.

Pet profiles and triage entries are kept so your journal stays available. You can delete a pet from the app at any time, and you can ask us to delete your entries and subscription data.

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to certain processing. If you are in the UK, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

The app does not use advertising cookies. It uses your browser’s local storage only to remember your device key, so your pets and plan stay with you on this device.

The app is intended for adults. It is not designed for use by children, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
