PetCare Vet AI ("the app", "we") is an AI-powered triage and health-tracking companion for pet owners. By using the app — including the free features and the paid PetCare Plus plan — you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app.

The app gives you AI-generated guidance on how urgent your pet’s symptoms might be and what to consider doing next. It classifies each situation as Green (monitor at home), Yellow (see a vet within 24 hours) or Red (go to a clinic now).

It is not veterinary advice, not a diagnosis and not a substitute for examination by a qualified veterinary professional. No vet reviews your messages. The app cannot prescribe treatment or medication, and no pet is monitored by a human.

If your pet is struggling to breathe, collapsing, bleeding heavily, having a seizure, has swallowed something toxic, or you believe it is an emergency, contact your vet or an out-of-hours clinic immediately. Do not wait for an AI answer.

You can add pet profiles (name, species, breed, age, weight, medical history and a photo). The guidance you receive is based on the details and photos you provide, so please keep them accurate and up to date.

Pet profiles and triage entries are tied to your account when you are logged in, so they follow you across devices. If you use the app without logging in, they are tied to the browser you are using. Subscriptions are currently paused — the app is free while in testing.

PetCare Plus unlocks the AI triage chat; pet profiles and the medical journal are available without it. You choose how often to pay: monthly (£20), every 6 months (£114 — a 5% saving) or yearly (£216 — a 10% saving).

Every new subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel during the trial, your first payment is taken when the trial ends and your plan renews automatically for the billing period you chose.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you authorise a recurring charge, at the amount for your chosen billing period, until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future charges and your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not provide refunds for part of a billing period, except where the law requires it.

We may change the price or the features of PetCare Plus in future. If we change the price, we will tell you before the change applies to you, and you can cancel first.

Use the app for your own pets, and only upload photos and information you have the right to share. Do not use the app to break the law, to attempt to access other people’s data, to overload or interfere with the service, or to resell access to it.

We aim to keep the app available 24/7, but the service depends on third-party AI, payment and hosting providers, so it may be interrupted, delayed or temporarily unavailable. We may change, add or remove features at any time.

The app is provided "as is". AI output can be incomplete or wrong, and you remain responsible for decisions about your pet’s care — always follow the advice of a veterinary professional over the app.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profit or goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

We may suspend or end access to the app if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken, or if we are required to do so by law.

We may update these terms as the app changes. The "last updated" date at the top shows the current version, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
